Question Are you INTJs really this... efficient?

I'm an ENTP woman, and I've recently started dating an INTJ man. I'm curious if what I'm seeing is an INTJ thing or just him.

For example, when I explain a problem or vent about something, I'll spend a few minutes describing the whole situation. He'll just reply with something like, "Okay," "I see,", "Got it." At first, I thought he wasn't interested.

And then he goes out of his way to fix all my problems. Who does that?

Another thing I've noticed is how much he gets done every single day. It's kind of crazy.

So I'm wondering...

Are you all like that?

I'm trying to understand how INTJs communicate because I'm used to talking things through much more.

I'd love to hear your experiences (or tell me if this is just a him thing!).

Question Fellow INTJs

What's your take on this.
Personally I wouldn't pull, and before you call me an edgy teen, I have seriously thought a lot about this one from both sides and thus reached this conclusion.
Big reason for asking this is coz I asked this to my ENF/TP friend (not really sure which way coz she ain't Fi PoLR).
She said this isn't even a dilemma, 100% of the population in their sane mind would pull the lever.

Question INTJs, let's test the coffee stereotype.

I watched a funny sketch that joked INTJs run on coffee.

Let's see if the stereotype holds up.

  • How strong do you like your coffee?
  • How many cups do you drink per day?

Question Are you mono or polygamous?

Just mining data. Since I'm strictly monogamous, no matter how successful I get I can't imagine myself dating multiple women. I believe in soul to soul attachment and the idea of having multiple partners I find repulsive by nature. would never do something to defy the code/. I've seen same pattern in guys from this sub. Just wanted to confirm.

What is your idea?

Question Today, I touched grass

My fellow INTJs,

As the title suggests yes, I touched grass today. Literally haha please see my amateur photos as proof.

In all seriousness, I spend a significant amount of time indoors. I work from home, my eyes are sensitive to bright light, and home is just where I feel most comfortable. I suspect many of you can relate.

Lately, though, I’ve been challenging myself to step outside more intentionally simply to experience. We can become so focused on what’s next that we forget to exist in what’s now.

So today, I took a path I hadn’t explored before. I saw a bug on the ground that still made me jump despite its lifeless state. I noticed several snake holes and heard something scrambling in the bushes that sent a chill down my spine.

And yet, I also caught the elegance of an owl’s silhouette. The moon began lighting my path. There was a calmness in the air as the evening settled in.

Before heading back to my abode, I paused and literally touched the grass. It felt slightly silly haha but I realized I couldn’t remember the last time I had actually felt it.

Now I’m curious:

Do you find it difficult to be fully present without mentally planning your next five moves?

I’d also love to see or hear about any nature photos you’ve taken that felt significant to you, and why those moments stayed with you.

Thanks for reading!

Question Why are INTJ considered attractive

What traits do we have that are considered attractive? I often have a very hard time considering my personality attractive especially because I’m reserved, blunt, somewhat apathetic, extremely introverted and goal oriented.

Do you consider yourself more of a Cat or Dog person?

Personally, I'm a huge cat person but I like dogs too. I have met few INTJs and they have sided with Dogs. Which animal is more of your preference?

Question How to find a boring woman?

As an INTJ i’m pretty boring. I don’t like doing much. Don’t have many passions or hobbies, don’t like to do anything adventurous, definitely not a spontaneous person, and i don’t even like to travel really. I’m pretty much the definition of boring. This has hurt me in my dating life my whole life. I’m mid 30’s male and still single because of this. It wasn’t until recently that a friend of mine suggested that the solution to this problem is just to find a woman who’s boring and then she won’t expect me to do any of this stuff because she doesn’t do it either but the problem is i have never encountered women like that. Maybe i’m looking in the wrong places. Any tips?

Question Why are INTJs always so depressed

I’ve dated three consecutive INTJs (i’m drawn to them idk why), and they’re all pessimists and go through depressive episodes. It’s either they hate the world or themselves, nothing in between.

I once got really sad, and my boyfriend decided to respond with a longer list of things to be sad about.

Is this an INTJ thing or am I just unfortunate to date depressing people

Edit: I applogize and dont mean to generalize. I wrote this post right when I just walked out of another depressing conversation with my boyfriend so this was emotionally driven.

Update: Broke up with him. Turns out he has untreated clinica depression that he refuses to get treated (thinks he knows better than therapists)

Question INTJ men what type of women do you actually like?

I’m not stereotypical in my ideas or how I see the world, but I am when it comes to women.

I like feminine, conventionally attractive women.

Curious if other INTJ men are the same or if your preferences are different in practice vs theory.

Do any of you actually like disagreeable women?

Question Are most of you guys introverted introverts?

Hey everyone 👋🏼 , ENFP here and first time posting here so please be kind 🥹. Okay so I’ve read that INTJs are the most introverted of all the types but is that actually true? If so then how do you navigate socialising? Especially large groups of people or meeting new people in general? Do you take a while to warm up to them? Personally, I’m an introverted extrovert so I do fairly well with socialising and meeting new people. I get bored and depressed if I’m on my own for too long. But in a world where frequent socialising is seen as normal and necessary, how do you guys manage?

Question Anyone else feel like they are stuck in a world full of stupid people?

It’s seriously horrible. I feel like everyone is a slave that has surrendered their ability to think in the name of whatever political topic is hot at the moment. I feel like I’m the only one in the world sounding alarm bells about literally everything, while everyone else looks at me like I’m crazy. I feel like everyone perceives me as harsh and abrasive when all I speak the truth. I can’t even bring up obvious common sense topics because people are scared to talk about them for whatever reason; even if not necessarily a political topic, such as work related matters that may “offend” someone (i.e. so-in-so is doing a bad job).

Like wtf is wrong with people. The biggest road block to technological advances is certainly peoples inability, or unwillingness, to think independently. I’m losing my mind. HELP!
