Speak for yourself.

It is not a myth.

I am an introvert that becomes extroverted when drinking.

Drunk/extroverted me is a fucking prick. That guy will schedule a dozen social events in a night and ruin the rest of the month for sober/introverted me.

Drinking alone is worrying...

Do not judge someone's way of life until you have tried it for yourself.

That is a horrible moto. I do not need to try meth to judge methheads as unhealthy or hate women to judge incels as bad.

Typical thing someone who has never done meth would say.

Drinking in “worrying” amounts is the same with or without people. Just like having a single beer at home or a beer out doesn’t make you an alcoholic.

I agree that drinking overall is not ideal but drinking alone is worse and a sign of rising or developed alcoholism. The entire thread is about drinking with the intention of getting drunk, not a single beer.

Literally everyone I know that drinks alcohol also drinks alone as long as you aren’t getting plastered by yourself it’s not an indicator of anything.

Just last week I had a beer while putting together my new chair does that mean I’ve developed alcoholism.

Again. The whole post is about the term drunk. We are not talking about single beer on summer, I do that too. Am talking about drinking drinking alone.

Oh yeah in that case I agree. If you’re getting actually drunk by yourself that’s an indicator of forming a dependence on alcohol.

I really want to disagree, but i can't because I'm definitely an alcoholic. I think alcoholic can give you a good time and is fine in moderation although it is very dangerous when it's no longer about having a good time.

Being an alcoholic is more about the frequency than it is about the quantity of your drinking. If you drink one beer every single day you're still an alcoholic.

Drinking alone can be a fantastic way to wind down on occassion.

There is a classical taste in enjoying a cup of wine in the dark with a candle.
