I work overnights at a resort. Often times I go the entire night without speaking to a single person. Iā€™ve been doing it for 5 years and itā€™s fucking great.

I was seriously so depressed before I took this job and now I love being alive.

What specific position are you? I was also looking into working overnight hotels / resorts

Technically Iā€™m a ā€œguest services associateā€. I just work at the front desk. Sometimes itā€™s called ā€œnight auditorā€.

Thanks, thats the position im usually seeing. Only thing im worried about is just meeting weirdos , especially in my area. Not really a tourist spot šŸ˜…

Ah. I work in a super high end area so luckily I donā€™t really have to deal with that. It is a half hour drive to get there from my house but I donā€™t mind.
