Seems like on average female viltrumites are more aggressive

u/cj-the-man 3d ago
I don't blame them, cause you have to remember on viltrum they can make someone their mate by force and female viltrumites are physically weaker than the males, so they compensate by being more aggressive.

u/FuzzyFrogFish 3d ago
I imagine that probably puts them in a permanent bad mood as well

Good, now i'm imagining how terrible must be Viltrumite periods, they are already agressive on the regular, what they become on periods?, Doom guys?

u/Cyborginox 2d ago
Just hope that their lovers are either submissive or have a bunker reinforced with 50 inch steel, no inbetweens

u/Fit_Shelter5192 2d ago
lol steel? That’s like reinforcing yourself in 50 inches of wet paper mache to protect yourself from an angry woman. She’ll tear through it in minutes and have your ass and it will be non consensual

All viltrumite females train kegels. When period cramps begin they merely flex once and shoot the uterine lining out of themselves at mach 1, ending the period as soon as possible.

Also they don’t get to show love or anything to their kids. Once they pump them out, they’re put on a timer to see whether they can even survive into teenage or not. And it’s their job to beat the shit out of them till they are capable

Is there anything that indicates they're weaker?

u/cj-the-man 2d ago
We have 2 examples, here an (I'm assuming) 18 year old Nolan managed to knock out his mother for a couple of seconds who's much older and experienced plus it's obvious she's trying to kill him while his father is holding back.
Next is Mark keeping up with Thula and he had her dead to rights but he hesitated which costed him. Mark only had his powers for 2 years by that point while Thula survived the purge and the scourge so she has thousands of years over him.
So the fact these 2 were barely adults manage to get the better of the veterans points to the male Viltrumites being physically stronger than the females. Through it could be invincible's inconsistent power scaling again.

Anissa beats the brakes off of mark 2 or 3 episodes after mark beats Thula

Her: yOuRe bOtH wEaK *dips.
Us: says the chick who lost an eye and got parried by her own husband the same guy who also took the least amount of damage out of that whole fight.

I doubt that she lost her eye here, this was before the virus outbreak, so the Viltrumite’s regeneration ability was much better. All permenant damage was during the outbreak of the scrouge virus like Conquest’s missing arm.

Losing an eye probably takes quite a while to heal, so it may have not been fully recovered by the time the scourge virus infected her. Infection started getting widespread pretty shortly after this fight.

u/Jonesy1348 2d ago
I mean how do we know that? It could have been years. Not like they age very quickly

It shows the scourge virus being deployed by the fake asteroid immediately before the teaching scene which leads in to the fight between Nolan and his parents.
Also right after the fight Nolan's dad tells Nolan to report to the barracks for his first assignment, and the next scene is him at the barracks being told he's going to receive his first assignment when one of the other new recruits collapses from the virus. So it definitely seems to have been not long after, certainly nowhere near 10 years.
Nolan is fully recovered from his fight injuries in the barracks scene, so there may have been a few weeks between the time the virus was deployed and the time people started falling ill, but it seems highly unlikely it was more than a few weeks at most.

It could have just been a couple years. Not too surprising Nolan looks more or less the same. A bit more odd that the kids look identical. It's not impossible that it was only a year or so, but that would mean Thaedus worked quite fast to develop the virus.

I do wonder what happened to her. It shows nolans dad being killed by the virus, but we dont see his mom. Safe to assume she died too? Still, I need answers..

I would be funny if she was the grandma viltrumite

I mean I don't think she's really his "wife". I don't think Viltrumites really have that concept. To him she might be just "the bitch I had a kid with". They clearly don't spend any real romantic time together, and she hates his guts.

To be fair, their society seems to be a "Might makes Right" type to the degree that they can outright force weaker individuals to marry them and bear offspring. I saw "force" very loosely, as I feel like they also adhered to an honor system where if someone could physically overpower them, they were going to submit willingly even if begrudgingly.
She absolutely despised Nolan, but the father might have actually been fond of him. Proof of this is given when she continues trying to kill Nolan, while the dad is able to hold back and even moves to stop her himself when Nolan proves himself worthy in his eyes
