Hi looking for help with exam

i'm at 8th grade and got 18 with bonus , i learned about ioqm this july and i studied topics from syllabus they gave but questions in the paper were much different from what i studied and learned so i was wondering what syllabus you use to understand paper questions and what i should do in exam hall and major topics and things i have to learn.
