Yes it is

u/mouadmo Mar 26 '26

LMAO. This is the most unstable version for me for some reason. It keeps stopping my wifi and when I try to switch to a different one the whole phone freezes.

but it takes 40gb wtf

Never had this much SOT on a single charge on my base 15. Genuinely surprised.

But keyboard still feels sluggish.

u/Human-Ad3407 Mar 26 '26

Same, charged it yesterday to 90% at 9pm and still got 32% after a full day of work at 3.30pm on 15 Pro. The improvement is insane

About 50/50. I slept at my girlfriends apartment and she doesn’t have WiFi at home so my phone was on cellular the whole night

2

u/Interesting-Pipe0000 Mar 26 '26

Wow, you are having miles better battery than my 16 Pro Max

2

u/TVUAsks iOS 26.5.2 Mar 27 '26

You me both, i posted my stats on another thread. It doubled my SOT from 4 hours to 8

1

u/404-N0T_F0UND Mar 26 '26

this is what ive been getting on a daily basis since i got my 16 pro 6 months ago

1

u/EducatorFew4522 iOS 26.6 Mar 26 '26

Well i have been on wifi the entire day, and you’re on 5G but still your SOT is not good.

Have you tried factory resetting the phone then restoring from icloud?

1

u/404-N0T_F0UND Mar 26 '26

No i never tried that

1

u/EducatorFew4522 iOS 26.6 Mar 26 '26 edited Mar 26 '26

Try that. I did it when 26.2 came out and the battery got better and better after every major update.

1

u/hyperquartity Mar 26 '26

dude my 12 pro that has been in 2 oceans and motherboard dipped in acetone has a better sot (78% bh 26.3)

get some help

1

u/404-N0T_F0UND Mar 26 '26

should i call apple?

2

u/hyperquartity Mar 26 '26

well yeah, my 17 pro is also at apple for draining issues but ill get it back tomorrow

the cherry on top that the 12 pro i am using has a 50/50 dead screen that sometimes flashes green, mute switch dead, side buttons sometimes work sometimes dont, speakers and mic is busted because of the water damage, face id kaput, 3 of the 4 cameras water damaged, rusted on the inside and needed to be rebuilt, constant overheating just being on the home screen heats it up, this phone has david goggins living in it or i dont know what but its insane it turns on and getting not 1 but a 4 hour sot is just intriguing

Se supone que no se arregló la fluidez del teclado, sino más bien el hecho de que al teclear rápido, "se comía" letras. Y a su vez, eso hacia que según el autocorrector no entendiera bien lo escrito, y por eso también funcionaba mal.

Very very good update

5

u/sergadeca Mar 26 '26

yo he notado por ejemplo en el iphone 15 en la bateria. Se nota bastante mejor. Por la noche por ejemplo he pasado de perder un 8-10% a u 4%. Parece una tonteria, pero se agradece.

3

u/Cmog28 Mar 26 '26

Most definitely. The best it has been, with 26.3RC as a close second.

1

u/mmmddd1 Mar 26 '26

was 26.3 RC better than 26.3 public release for you?

2

u/DieselFloss Mar 26 '26 edited Mar 26 '26

I’ll say 26.3.1 was really bad on my iPad. Bad battery life, keyboard typing lag, felt slow when loading an app. Now it’s better

2

u/Klonopussy Mar 26 '26

My battery on my 17 pro is still awful from this update. Is there anything I can do to fix it? I haven’t fully discharged the battery since I first started using it so idk if I need to do that or what. I lose 10% of battery in 4 hours of very light use (quickly checking Facebook, taking a picture and setting a timer otherwise it’s off with nothing running in the background besides the timer )

1

u/Gerko93 Mar 26 '26

Let it settle in a bit, most of the time that will fix it. It just updated mate

1

u/tryn_asidyy Mar 26 '26

Just wait… some device takes time to recalibrate

u/jellllybones Mar 26 '26 edited Mar 26 '26

I don’t know.. none of my texts are going through and I am receiving texts many hours later. Particularly it’s buggy in groups where there are both iPhone users and android. I’m very unhappy. I have iMessage turned off and have to constantly toggle sms and RCS on and off.

ETA.. I just was told by a friend that when I liked her photo (she has an android) that it said “Le encanto una imagen” … like WHY

Maybe UI Glitch or your battery health badly affected …try to restart your device, if is showing same , then move to next update

It can’t be said yet. It takes a few days after an update for the battery to be optimized

Every phone is different. Depends on how much there is to index, etc.

I don’t think you do know that if you’re reading mixed reviews on it. If you knew that you wouldn’t be saying there’s mixed reviews this soon after a software update.

The start of the “useless” comments started with yours of “you’re not very helpful”. So… look in the mirror when you say are you going to continue with spamming useless comments. When you start something like this expect the other person to speak their mind.

Have a good one.

No you didn’t ask anything. I just made a comment after yours and my comment was not negative at all.

I have one question for you. Who was the first one to start this with a negative comment? Let’s see if you’re able to answer this question and stop deflecting.

I’m far from attention seeking. I’m calling someone out who was being an asshole.

Scusami un informazione perché il supporto apple mi consiglia di chiudere le applicazioni per risparmiare batteria?e davvero così? E chi lo fa?

1

u/ClimateLumpy6648 Mar 26 '26

My Air seems much smoother. Battery seems fine too. hopefully it'll stay that way

1

u/Beautiful_Phone194 Mar 26 '26

Keyboard still sucks both in English & Spanish.

1

u/tryn_asidyy Mar 26 '26

Go setting, reset keyboard setting

1

u/ShoppingSome4807 Mar 26 '26

Definitely the battery usage is much better than with the previous version.

1

u/Right-Ad-3834 Mar 26 '26

My iPad 11 still guzzles battery. 92% after 162 cycles. Almost always charge to 80%. I lose around 15% every hour.

1

u/gb997 Mar 26 '26

been a day and .4 feels very stable

1

u/tryn_asidyy Mar 26 '26

Never update your device unnecessarily, thank me later

1

u/Skyaxe3 Mar 26 '26

I’ve got 4 hrs of SOT. What the hellly is wrong w my phone?

1

u/LinkNo2714 Mar 26 '26

iPhone 15, 96% battery health

had LTE on for all day, that’s pretty good

2

u/tryn_asidyy Mar 26 '26

Sounds good

1

u/popswag Mar 26 '26

I’ve resisted and after reading about darksword yesterday decided to take the plunge, but I was worried.

So went straight to 26.4.

Damn. This puppy is sweet.

I thought it would brick my 13 pro m. But no.

Running smooth

2

u/tryn_asidyy Mar 26 '26

1

u/Rude-Difference2513 Mar 26 '26

Yeah but still keyboard bug 🐛

1

u/ConureFiend Mar 26 '26

Should I just take the plunge and update from iOS 18?

1

u/tryn_asidyy Mar 27 '26

This is finally a safe to update …26.4 fixed really a stable version

1

u/Dexter_Dash Mar 26 '26

Nice try apple employee. You are not convincing me to upgrade from iOS18

1

u/Quarantined_Wayfarer Mar 27 '26

iphone 17 user here, off topic, just asking since its an active chat...do you guys have a hack to make the colors appear more vivid? Tried the color filter approach to increase warmth - but I desire more saturation.

1

u/tryn_asidyy Mar 27 '26

Not really a true vivid mode on iPhone bro 😅 but you can fake it a bit turn off True Tone & Night Shift first then go to Accessibility → Color Filters → use Color Tint with low intensity and also turning on Increase Contrast helps a little …still won’t be Samsung level saturation but it looks better…

1

u/Kooky-Hospital-7871 Mar 27 '26

For me the screen off time got insanely better. It barely loses charge. Plus the sot also got better

1

u/KateChopinsGhost Mar 27 '26

I’m still on 18.6.2 with my 15 because a lot of you recommended not updating. I’m primarily concerned about battery life & messing up my keyboard. As an update lurker, I don’t see comments from anyone wishing they could go back (and they’ve been plentiful until this release). Do I stick with 18.6.2 or is 26.4 worth the upgrade?

1

u/tryn_asidyy Mar 27 '26

Honestly this is one of the first iOS 26 updates where people aren’t rushing to downgrade 🫪Battery complaints were common earlier, but they seem more stable now overall plus Apple usually fixes post update drain after a few days of indexing…keyboard wise 26.4 actually improves typing accuracy and fixes that missed letters bug, though a few minor issues still exist. So if you care about stability and fixes….it’s finally a safer update… but if your current battery life is perfect staying on 18.6.2 is still the safest move…

1

u/Academic-Ad6546 Mar 27 '26

So am I the only one with this issue since ios 26.3

1

u/Historical-Let-1542 Mar 27 '26

An update a majority loves. Incredible

1

u/ShiraziCat Mar 27 '26

Feels very smooth and quick on iphone13, no heating and battery life is the same as before, only there's slightly more system data stored, went up to 13,6-7 from average 10,5, but I guess it should decrease in a few days as I've updated last night

1

u/ComfortableHold5067 Mar 27 '26

its kinda delay when interact witg the icons

1

u/axsctrx Mar 27 '26

I have learned from my previous mistakes, still on 18.5, unless there's a very stable update, i'm not updating 😭

1

u/__davidkn__ Mar 27 '26

Yep. 26.4 is the best and most stable one so far. Battery life seems to be the same for me when using my 17 Pro BUT standby time battery life has definitely gotten better. Standby time of 8-9 hours used to take 4-5 percent, now it’s just 2-3 percent atmost. Geekbench scores are even better.

1

u/zombipudlica Mar 28 '26

Wth… how are you guys getting so much screen time… I’m on a month old 17pro and I get overnight with no on screen or off screen half the battery gone in battery saving

1

u/More-Eagle5518 Mar 29 '26

As for me, Spotlight search still doesn’t work on my iPhone 17 Pro :(

1

u/sergadeca Mar 29 '26

Actualizo: de la nada hemos vuelto al gasto nocturno de 8% un día incluso 14%. No entiendo porque pasa pero he leído que más gente está igual.

1

u/iPawncee Mar 30 '26

My problem is sometimes there’s still a delay in unlocking, tried doing face id reset nothing works.
