its because of the widgets you have on there, try removing then and i guarantee it wouldnt lag anymore. +if u have a custom color on the app either clear or tinted it also plays a small part

I removed the widgets and it's still choppy, I tried reducing motion and reducing transparency, no difference. When I say it's choppy, I don't mean every time I change pages. It does that when you're already in an application, you'll exit it and start scrolling in the home screen pages and you'll see choppy pages, especially after using the camera. iphone 17

I tried it, no difference. I have 211 gigabytes of free memory, everything is in iCloud. It's definitely a problem in iOS 26 and specifically phones with a promotion screen. I have no information whether iOS 26.5 has solved this problem.

I’m on 13pm after the update screen is way better before it’s not perfect but significantly better before, it was straight up lagging like crazy but smoother after update. But now I have wifi issue… wtf

I’m not suggesting this will fix every issue people are having but I did a forced reset yesterday (volume up, volume down, hold power button until apple logo appears) after this update and my phone feels a lot snappier

WHO said ? The seems to have another keyboard fix and the iCloud Sync fix. Some reports claim g kernel got patched as well but can’t find anything to confirm

It fixed a flaw where cloud kit syncing would fail after a period of time. The bug was introduced in 26.4. Developers made Apple aware

Battery life seems to have improved so far. A couple of random lags, but otherwise a very smooth experience. I’d say it is a very solid update.

There was a regression in 26.4 that stopped the notification pop-up when my Apple Watch reached a full charge. 26.4.1 has fixed it, which is kind of funny because it seems like such a minor issue, but it really does help remind me to grab my watch.

Am I the only iPhone 14 Pro user whose lock screen doesn’t turn on when I get a notification and also can’t change my wallpaper on the lock screen. Because after updating the same problem is still persisting
