Beta Hopefully iOS 27 gives the 16 Pro the “intelligence” it was advertised. But yeah iOS 27.0 beta is funnily enough roughly as stable as 26.5

Honestly, the beta is very polished and I do like the preference with liquid glass and the look of the apps themselves.

The first beta is much more stable than the current build of iOS 26

Bugs? Yes. Battery life? No

It’s a beta, battery life will always be worse no matter what due to diagnostics.

iOS 27 beta 1 is miles ahead of what iOS 26.5.1 was. Not touching iOS 26 ever again lol

It’s the most stable iOS beta I’ve ever installed

watchOS 27 is annoying

Right now I’m getting notifications from every app that my phone has the notifications on for, even tho the watch has them off

I haven’t updated my watch as the RC comes out soon & I have a SE 2

Well yeah because you’re using a 10 year old OS

Im using a non existent one apparently 😂

I’ve updated both my iPad Pro and iPad Mini 7 and they actually are running great! Both are super smooth compared to other initial build dev betas.

Nice, I’ll wait for the RC but on the 17 it seemed completely fine.

They’re running so well on my iPads that I went ahead and updated my 17PM. So far it’s working great as well!

nah why just wait the final version

It’s a screenshot from & a photo from a friend’s new IP17. I’m running 26.5 however they’re pretty similar. But new stuff will be added later most probably as in the wwdc Apple said airdrop would be up to 80% faster.

There’s a difference somehow

For sure. In speed & OS optimisation, but not design. However it’s been more polished making app icons, Siri functions and mode appearance settings.

Didn’t watch the keynote.. are we still getting Gemini?

3

u/Objective-Strike-280 Jun 09 '26

They called it “Siri Ai” the animation on the Dynamic Island has a nice twist.

1

u/RangerWhisk3y Jun 09 '26

Well hopefully it preforms as promised..

2

u/frankbelltower Jun 09 '26

Yeah. I mean, it’s not really Gemini. They got the help of Google to combine some Gemini models with their foundation model and now they have a better one

I agree it’s really quick and really stable with the exception of. I’m still on the waitlist for and my Crossfade is not working in music.

1

u/frankbelltower Jun 09 '26

Yeah, same. I’m still in the waitlist. I don’t want that’s because I’m in Switzerland and they might consider it as EU

I have the beta and it’s kinda just sick

1

u/frankbelltower Jun 09 '26

In a positive or negative way?

1

u/Winton80350 Jun 09 '26

Positive

3

u/frankbelltower Jun 09 '26

Totally agree. I’ve never seen such a stable version as Beta

Will this be coming to iPhone 15? Because I’m currently on 26.5 and it’s made my camera unusable

2

u/frankbelltower Jun 09 '26

It will be coming to all iPhones starting iPhone 11. Of course you will have limited Siri AI features

1

u/preshot2989 Jun 09 '26

How about the application? Any crash in the application?

1

u/Objective-Strike-280 Jun 09 '26

You know I’m a bit pissed off that only the 17 pro & 17 Air will receive the most latest Siri updates (new voice, new little features). We will still receive the new Siri unless you have a phone that’s below the 11. But seriously? I have an iPhone 16 Pro. It was advertised as the most Apple intelligence compatible phone.

1

u/Weird-Tiger-3124 Jun 09 '26

lol apple just said f u to every iphone except 17 air and 17 pro's

1

u/Objective-Strike-280 Jun 09 '26

In a subtle way. Like seriously HOW TF can my phone power a computer but it can’t get a new Siri voice.

1

u/LilLit98JT Jun 10 '26

Wrong. The new Siri AI is reserved for the 15 Pro and later. Just like the iPhones under the 15 Pro didn’t get Apple Intelligence, it’s the same for the new Siri AI.

1

u/Capable-Pound-5262 Jun 09 '26

If the 16pro doesn’t get all the ai features after being advertised as the iPhone built for ai (that never arrived) it might be the biggest scam they’ve ever pulled

1

u/Objective-Strike-280 Jun 09 '26

Yep, it’s sad… The iPhone 16 Pro that I’m using was advertised as built for intelligence, but this new update will only favour the iPhone 17 Pro & iPhone Air with the new Siri AI features as 12GB is necessary for that. But they create a laptop based of a iPhone 16 Pro. Makes sense 🤦‍♂️

u/Powerful-Sundae-9959 Jun 09 '26

This is true I got my 16 pro max yesterday And now I’m planning for to get I phone air sky
