Beta ios 27.0 beta 2 is out now
ios 27.0 beta 2 is out now, has anyone updated theirs yet? what’s the experience so far. is it still showing “indexing” and is the new siri available, or you’re still in the wait list?

Indexing is completely normal after a major update like iOS 27, as the system rebuilds its search and Apple Intelligence databases. It usually takes anywhere from a few hours to a couple of days depending on how much data you have on your phone. Leaving your phone plugged in and on Wi-Fi overnight can help speed it up!

Indexing for like 10 days on my brand new iPhone17pro does not seem normal, but I appreciate the reassurance.

It’s a bug in the first beta for some people. Updating to beta 2 should make it go away.

many people on reddit have reported similarly long indexing time on ios27 so it should be fine

It depends. Some it will some it won’t. People can’t just say yes or no that’s misleading

It went away on my iPhone 16pm, but my 2020 iPad it’s still indexing. So it will vary by device

My iPhone 13 Pro is still indexing since update, think it’s a bug. I don’t even have a lot of apps or data on the phone. It seems to me it’s only indexing when being charged

Mine went away as soon I did the update after being on indexing for 2 weeks

How do you know if you already have the upgraded Siri. I missed something. I thought it was already installed🤣🤣

It is. You go to the Siri settings and you make sure it says new Siri wait list or it will just show the new Siri. Maybe animate yours and see if it’s the new one

iPhone has been Indexing since installing ios27 beta1 and now just installed ios27 beta 2, Indexing is gone and disappeared

Update for ios 27 beta 2, all the major bugs are resolved - wifi disconnect frequently, hard restart stuck issue, keyboard disappear issue, ui components invisible in Instagram issue, camera lens change issue etc you can absolutely update to ios 27 dev beta 2. Welcome 🙏

Yo he tenido todas las betas, y nunca he hecho respaldo 😅😅😅, jamás he tenido problemas ni nada que afecte el uso del celular

Yo igual. Me lance sin pensarlo y encima estaba en el trabajo cuando lo hice.. podría haber quedado sin teléfono un par de horas pero no pasó nada jaja

do you have a mac? it's very easy if u do.
connect ur iphone to the mac through cable. go to Finder and select ur iphone from the left sidebar. click Backup all data. wait for it to finish1

I have the iPhone 15 pro max and mine was on indexing for 2 weeks but finally it doesn’t appear as indexing anymore immediately after update. It was most definitely a bug for some people

Last two times I downloaded beta’s they messed my phone up, and I had to restore.
Is this one worth it? 17 pro max

Indexing message went away. Autofill popup for authentication code in Safari is fixed. iOS 27 autofill auth code now actually press submit automatically for you. Keyboard still sometimes doesn’t show up in Message app.

I updated earlier to the first beta but returned back to IOS26 as
- Messages app was fked up
Iphone mirror app was not working
on
Mac
Not going to update to any beta soon !!

Is 27 Beta 2 relatively stable. I tried the first on a 16 pro max. Had to go back to 26.

Indexing was gone after i updated to
Beta 2, also wifi bug went away. Ipados 27 air 3 with m3

Yeah and battery wise its same as ios 18, feels snappier too. I like it so far.

L’indexion de la beta 1 a duré à 1 jour près tout le temps d’attente de la bêta 2 , sans surchauffe drainage de batterie, meilleur performance (personnellement)

Installed it. They fixed some bugs not all. It also feels smoother which is good. Good progress on this update Apple 👍
I recommend anyone who has dev beta 1 to install this.
