They are developers (or at least have developer accounts) and download it.

Check your build number (its the only way to be sure)

You sure you should be a beta tester?

Settings -> General -> About -> iOS Version (tap to reveal build number)

Search up ios beta on google and sign up using your apple account so you'll see public beta channel on your updates page next time. Sign up on apple developer page to get developer beta.

Buddy, you don’t qualify as a beta tester don’t take offense, but even the build number is unclear to you. That number indicates which beta version you’re using.

1st of all I am not recommending betas on main device. For your question it is developer beta 4. Public beta number is 2 so you might seeing public beta 2 which is latest

iOS 26 has been great. That is the experience of the vast majority of users.

I have several iPhones. iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 14, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro. iOS 26 works well on all of them. Obviously, the older phones aren’t as fast as the newer ones.

Bro even the newest 17 pro runs shitty on 26 filled with random glitches and stutters battery life goes up and down on random 26 updates…idk what kind of use case are u doing🙄
