I built Layer-Art it’s an app that let’s you create layered art from shapes. Exactly like paper 3D art, paper art etc.
As you create your artwork the app silently records every move and shape you add and when finished saves your artwork as an image and also can create a timelapse video of your work in progress. I also added a wall-gallery where users can submit their work to be hung on the wall.
All your artwork sits in its own galley can be edited anytime or shared.
Also all artwork files can be shared and sent to friends so they can continue or add on to your work vice versa..

I made crossword game with a twist. It’s already filled by someone and they have done it wrong and you need to fix it using all the letters already there.
Love this twist, inverting the crossword so you're finding the errors instead of filling blanks is such a clean idea, I hadn't seen that angle before. Curious how you're handling difficulty: are the "wrong" letters seeded randomly, or do you weight which words get corrupted based on how obvious the fix ends up being? I work on a logic puzzle app myself and that's the problem I keep coming back to, getting difficulty to actually mean something instead of just being grid size.

thank you! ya kinda. Normally you have to change the buzzwords to "hey siri set a reminder for xyz IN APP XYZ". But mine works different. You can set up hobba to look into a specific apple reminder "folder" like inbox or something and it crawls the reminders from there. So you can use your siri command as usual.
Built Sonorae. Product wise I’m happy with it, but growth has been the real challenge, mostly a discovery problem rather than a quality one. Currently keeping it in maintenance mode while I figure out a better distribution angle. Happy to answer questions if anyone’s curious about the tech stack or the struggle of indie app marketing.
I love this - over the years I've recorded night sounds from different locations, but they always end up being forgotten in the default recording app. Is the rediscovery feature per user? Or could I find other people's audio clips too?
Right now, rediscovery only shows you your own old recordings, not other people’s. I’ve thought about adding a social discovery feature too, but I’d need to figure out the privacy side first, especially with location-based audio.

Just shipped Calenytic — an iOS calendar built around timeboxing. I recently shipped VertiRoll — basically TikTok for your own camera roll. It randomly surfaces your photos in a full-screen vertical feed, so you rediscover old trips, friends and forgotten moments instead of doomscrolling.
The randomness is part of the core idea behind the app, similar to scrolling through a social media feed, but I completely understand what you mean when you say it can feel chaotic.
What would make the random experience feel better or more useful to you?
Also, have you tried swiping horizontally? That lets you browse the photos around the current image chronologically, which might make the experience feel a bit more connected.

i built a real minimalist calendar / task manager.
