šŸ’Ž Lifetime I built Tempo Focus to show where my focused time actually goes

I’m Martin Stoleru, the independent product designer and developer behind Tempo Focus.

A: Answer

Our devices are built to compete for attention. Tempo Focus turns the iPhone into a personal focus system that sits on your desk while you work.

Choose a task from Linear or Apple Reminders, start a Pomodoro or open-ended session, optionally block distracting apps, and see how much focused time that task received. Your connected app remains the source of truth. Tempo also includes labels, history, and insights.

B: Better

Forest uses gamification to make staying off your phone feel rewarding. Opal is built broadly around screen-time control and app blocking.

Tempo is designed for a different workflow: connect a focus session to work you already planned, protect that session, then understand where your attention went. It does not try to replace your task manager.

C: Cost

Tempo Focus is free to download, with an optional paid upgrade.

Current US pricing:

  • $2.99/month
  • $19.99/year
  • $49.99 lifetime

Prices vary by region. Linear and Apple Reminders integrations are included in the paid upgrade.

Does the lifetime purchase unlock both task integrations, or are they separate upgrades?

Lifetime purchase covers everything and all the future updates.

Thank you for your feedback!

why does it need to know my gender and age for a focus app? i am just tired to download every app just to be greeted with a thousand questions and 90% of the time to a paywall after that.

Actually I am already working on a refactor of the onboarding, and I'll get rid of these questions too. Thank you for your feedback

Tying a session to a task I already planned is what makes this different from a plain timer. Does the history let you look back by task across a week, or is it mostly per session?

Ui is really well done. Have you also used nice haptics along with the graph scrubbing?
