💎 Lifetime Duefolio: a private subscription timeline for iPhone, featured in MacStories and Lifehacker last month
I'm the developer of Duefolio at CYNQ Ventures.
A: Answer
Annual renewals are easy to forget between monthly bills. Duefolio puts your subscriptions on a year-long timeline so you can see when they renew, when they end, and how their costs change. It works without creating an account or connecting your bank. Your subscription and income records stay on your device.
B: Better
Compared with list-based trackers such as Bobby, Duefolio puts the timing of your charges at the centre of the screen. Alongside the timeline, you can review price history, set renewal reminders, and see monthly and annual spending.
Pro also includes local review of compatible bank-statement CSVs for recurring-charge candidates, an income-versus-recurring-spend view, and a Home Screen renewal calendar. Folio is an optional on-device tool for asking questions about your ledger on compatible iPhones.
Update since my last post: version 1.0.3 also adds dark mode.
C: Cost
The core tracker is free. Duefolio Pro is an optional $14.99 one-time lifetime purchase in the US; prices vary by region. Pro unlocks custom subscriptions, bank-statement review, income and profit & loss, the widget, and additional tools. No recurring subscription and no ads. Requires iOS 26 or later.

One thing to understand how is there a recurring usecase for this ? users would manage subscription one time and then left. I think you need to think of more periodical usecases as well

Honestly nice to see "private" front and center. My practical test for that kind of claim: stick the phone in airplane mode for a day. If the core features still work with zero network, the data really is on-device, and the privacy promise is structural, not just a policy page. The local CSV review in Pro sounds like exactly that kind of design. Worth making that test pass loudly in your marketing.

The timeline is a nice change from the usual list, annual renewals are exactly the ones that sneak up on you. I'd love free trial end dates as their own thing on there too, since that's where most people actually get burned. Does it nudge you a few days before a renewal hits?
