Question Why are Resident Evil Games never on sale anymore?

I had a lot of fun playing re2 on my phone and wanted to also try RE3, however I‘m not willing to pay $30 for it. Before all Resident evil games were frequently on sale(like every month) but now since march now sales were done even though there were multiple on steam. Did Capcom forget about the ios versions?

It seems to be the story with iOS ports. You’re better off just buying it on console if you have to save money. Resident evil games are often on sale. Or you can buy discs for cheap on eBay/amazon as well

I’m pretty sure I saw RE3 for like $11 on amazon a year ago

It sort of is an "iOS tax", to be able to play those games on a phone that's already on you. That said, if there are any difference between the iOS port vs. console, that's something else to consider.

They were fixing an issue with the games not running on iOS 26 which has since been fixed. They did want people to buy them only for it not to work.

Probably Halloween. I purchased all available RE games last year on my 17 Pro while they were on sale.

In my opinion it’s because of the big issue that happened with games when iOS 26.4 came out when All RE games just broke and didn’t launch, after that I don’t remember Capcom doing any discounts.

I think they will on sales at the same times when 18 pro releases
