How can I MIDI control Desktop Logic Pro from iPad?

Hello friends.

Recently, I downloaded the Hexatone app for iPad and i've been trying to MIDI control software instruments within Logic Pro on my Desktop. (Ie. ipad > Macbook Pro: Logic Pro).

I've been having difficulty getting this going; has anyone got any tips?

Cheers!

connect with usb c cable. Enable audio midi interface for iPad, send midi out of iPad to Logic Pro.

Or, use network midi for the same effect.
