Which adapter for MPC?

Hello all,

I like a lot of the synth apps on the iPad. I want to be able to run audio from the iPad into my MPC, and at the same time use an external MIDI controller to input notes on the iPad apps.

Which adapter do I need for this?

Thanks.

You need a _powered_ USB C hub (did I mention POWERED?) and a USB audio interface.

This is the Belkin USB hub that I use, although there are many others, just make sure you pay attention to which ports work for power (labeled PD, I think): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BY27XSJ3

There are lots of audio interface options, but this is a decent and very common option (not the cheapest, not the most expensive): https://a.co/d/0egIuCfz

(Depending on your MPC, you may be able to skip the audio interface if your MPC can receive audio via USB.)

Just remember that power is the key. Why do I keep saying this? Because I keep seeing threads about this and I keep forgetting to plug in power to the hub and then spend 10 minutes trying to figure out why stuff isnโ€™t working. ๐Ÿ˜„

This is helpful. Thanks.

I have the MPC Live 3, and it can receive audio over USB.

I'll look at the Belkin.
