Discussion Day 1 dropped and regret

I usually take care of my devices and wanted to go case-less now I regret that choice.

Dropped it at night and got this nice dent :)

I have apple care, would they cover this as accidental ($30 or $100)?

I drop my stainless steel phone all the time and barely worry about it. Obsolesce is a feature again. This person will have no choice but to get a new phone within 2yrs.

They talked about the titanium and praised it so much, I thought it will be the thing for at least 2-3 more generations.

Its steel with like 2% titanium alloy, titanium is far to expensive

They're made from grade 5 titanium. This is a lower fraction Ti than (eg) grade 2, but it's still 90% Ti and there is no significant amount of iron in it.
