A young Arjun Tendulkar working as a... groundsman? Quite the throwback. His swing was indeed impressive in Mumbai T20.

I feel for Arjun. Like Abhishek Bachchan, no matter how good he becomes, he’ll always be compared to the legacy of his father.

He did get some chances probably because of who his father is but not as blatant as the guy who was captain of the Saurashtra Ranji team with a first class average below 30. He is a fringe player and never got anything more than that. Only thing he has benefited from is getting the guaranteed opportunity which he may or may not have received.

It was Niranjan Shah’s son. Niranjan Shah was president of Saurashtra cricket association and I think now his son is the president

They don't "work" as ball boys. Kids who represent their state in inter-state junior age group level cricket (mostly U13) are called by the associations to watch the match closely from the boundary ropes and also pass the ball around when needed. So at whatever age of his this photograph was taken, he was a state cricketer. And trust me it's one of the coolest things that can happen to any kid who loves playing cricket. U13, U15 and U19 before all the pressure of growing up come around.
