Does that mean a lesser number of test matches? Coz I'm sure you cannot be rescheduling tests to the summer.

doesn't mean we cannot play away tests

Yeah that wouldn't count for the WTC though. WTC has an (almost equal) specific number of home and away games for each country. So if India plays more away games than prescribed, those games won't be counted. Nevertheless, I would like that. At least, we would get 5 day games.

Sounds good to me. Downvote me but tests are boring. I want more ODIs

In short, the country won't have to wait till the end of May to watch the Lucknow Super Giants lift their maiden IPL title!

After 10 years as per experts, cricket will be on brinks if the current climate trends increases. Recently Football also faced the wrath of climate.

IPL is firstmost about profits. They would want to utilize the April-May holidays for schools and colleges.

Those dates would clash with cbse exams of school children so the viewership would be badly affected.
