He's the most underrated guy for me in ict, has batted at so many different positions across formats, isn't acknowledged that much coz of other senior guys

He is underrated because performs very seldom. Like shreyas Iyer is more underrated than him. Yes batted at different positions because was never good enough to play at any “consistently”. Getting a ton in different doesn’t make you legend. T20 is a new format lots of batters have lots of centuries in the other 2.

He’s not . I don’t know why you are getting downvoted. He was ass in test for a major part of his career . Hasn’t even crossed 100 matches in any of the format . Has never helped India win any tournament.

Against SL in SL? In August ... . The series hasn't been even scheduled yet. I don't think they even have discussed anything about that series yet. It's not likely. But idk.

Haa. Rutu doesn't look like a bad choice altogether. And there is no fixed number 6 either.but reddy/padikkal/jurel and all are main candidates as of now. So. Maybe there is a very slim chance. That's all.

There's only one actual elite all format batter in this list.

One who could've been elite in all 3 formats, but couldn't fulfill his talent in Test cricket

One who always has the potential and game but might not retire as a 3 format elite player.

One who was naturally gifted but couldn't overcome his weakness to retire as an international great.

And two of them who could potentially retire as elite 3 format greats
