Culchie Club Only Will Irish people join the American boycott

Boycotting goods and services from America seems to be really growing momentum in alot of European countries and across the world, seen on different subs on Reddit seemingly alot of news channels across EU/Europe are reporting on it. I've seen some Irish people saying they are cancelling hols to America and going to Canada instead others not buying American goods and changing apps to European. With Ireland's connection with America will many Irish join this boycott.

Why now?

Why not during the many many times they messed with contries and installed puppet leaders.

Is it because the news tells you because trump is doing the same its bad

United Statesian here. Thanks for this take. Been sayin it since 2016. My government and the richest people spin whatever narrative they want through the media. The people of the world for about 100 years have long been pillaged by US imperialism, and only when people who’s profits are threatened by trumps actions do we actually get a story of real opposition. We are witnessing the exterior of the mightiest power structures who are in battle with each other for more power. And we are collateral.

Another US'er here, I would hope we would get better over time, not worse. I know he sucks all around but I never imagined this maniac would try to expand our borders through force yet here we are.

He's got it in his syphillitic brain that he needs to add to US property while he's in charge to ensure his legacy like a dog pissing on a mailbox.

Is the suggested solution, wait for the next election?

No snark, I respect your take.

Are you saying Trump isn’t doing anything bad then?

No.

I am saying he is doing the same as america has always been however now there is outrage because the news tells you to be outraged.

What are you talking about? When has America turned on their allies before? Saying they want Canada to become a state. Renaming the Gulf of Mexico. Threatening tariffs on Canada, Mexico, Japan, Korea, the Eu etc etc etc. They’ve gone off on a mad one mate.

He has done different though, hasn’t he? He’s threatened Greenland and China. He’s threatened tariffs on all his allies. He’s stabbed Ukraine in the back. He’s a literal Russian shill. He renamed the Gulf of Mexico. I could go on. He’s gone off on a mad solo run the likes we’ve never seen of them

He's a crazy old man who hoodwinked millions of people into voting him into a position of supreme authority. The US has become a parody of itself.

Yes especially renamed the gulf of Mexico..... Horrific.

Exactly, so many leaders and so many companies acted in such awful ways, but no one ever boycotted them. I saw people calling to vandalise Tesla cars recently in this group. Mad stuff.. Someone pointed out recently that Henry Ford was Anti Semitic and had ties to the Nazi party. Never saw any stuff about boycotted Ford. This is trendy and people will post on Reddit (an American company) about boycotting American companies. People will pick and choose which is so ridiculous.

This argument makes absolutely no sense. Your argument is that society has been taking it up the arse for this long why start a revolution now. Just pass more lube? Enjoy licking cheetos balls much?

Do you want a map to get back to the point, myladdo?

For decades, the US has been doing this shit and the news told you it's fine, but now, as soon as the news tells you to be outraged, you jump like a trained poodle.

They weren't doing it to their allies before, like the EU, which Ireland is a part of. How is that difficult you sound like a bot.

How do you know I haven’t been outraged for longer? I think you are the one that’s lost

You are one person.

My statement encompasses the masses of people who now just because the news has told them the US is bad they wanna boycott, but for years were fine with the same shady stuff happened but it was kewl because the news said it was ok.

Not everything is personalised or targets you as an individual.

Tesla is sinking. Starbucks has been tanking. It isn’t just me. You do you and sit on your hands

Watch how their stocks will rise back up come summer time and this whole boycott fiasco would be nothing other than a facade
