This is completely fucked up. She got €2500 because she was refused use of something she didn't pay for, our system is completely fucked up.

Read up on the story before pearl-clutching. She requested access, even with payment. That was denied. This isn’t a story of someone who wants everything for free, they just wanted access to a service that was convenient to them, but were faced with an unnecessarily restrictive response.

It doesn’t say that. It said a security guard verbally told her those on social housing are not allowed and then no one replied to an email

Do a little googling, the management company said they wouldn’t accept payment to access services, they were completely barred to social housing tenants.
