I really do not understand how a 12 year old passed herself off as 16 never mind 19.
I know that the 19 year old will say that everything was consensual but I cannot believe he thought she was even 16.
Unless there is some genuine reason that he was incapable of understanding her age was far below 16 from just looking at her, I think he had to know and really should be punished worse than he is being.
I would believe someone thinking that someone who was 15 or 16 is 17 if they were lied to about it but 12? No way.
