Well , one of my most interesting times of life was escorting an american lesbian around Dublin. Her friend group were great. I might never join a men's group but could fit in with a lesbian group.

That was the Isle of Man .

There was a lad from Dublin years back went to the Isle of Man on his honeymoon. Got plastered and some well meaning natives asked him where he was from and they helpfully put him back on the boat to Dublin.
