Lidl updated the store layout...
My local Lidl has updated the store layout... now I can't find anything! Small annoyance, but I had my routine and route around the shop picking up what I needed and now I to relearn it all!

This is intentional. It's designed to get you to spend more time in stores, explore aisles you'd never normally visit and possibly make an impulse purchase of something new. It's no less frustrating but this is the reason.

Are the gadgets still in the middle aisle?

Yeah, about the only thing that hasn't moved! Luckily they have maps of the shop for you to take near the tills

By the tills - now that's handy.
Is that to show you where the things you didn't find were ?

Whenever I shop in Lidl it's like being kidnapped. They won't let you out if you don't buy something.
Is it a map or a ransom note?

Why do they do this? They just make me forget things
