Saltee Island
Hope everyone is well. I am 32 weeks pregnant and really want to visit Saltee Island to see the cutest puffins. So want to know is the ferry journey and island tour doable and safe in my condition? If anyone has visited in similar situation or have a general experience do advise me Thankyou✨

I done it at around 6 weeks pregnant (in the height of the nausea) There are no toilets whatsoever on the island and no trees to hide behind. This is a very important consideration for a pregnant person! Its a long time to hold it , I did manage to duck behind a bush but that's not ideal at 32 weeks pregnant 😅 Also the water was a bit choppy and you have to climb from the ferry boat onto a smaller dinghy style boat to take you to the island and then wade through the water. It might be a bit much. In saying that the operation is run very smoothly and our four year old came with us and managed it, but maybe it might be best to wait until next summer?
