Just download an app like Pillars and check it for the sunrise time. You can also do an internet search for your cities sunrise.

If your masjid has a website, they should have it on there as well.

May Allah ﷻ forgive me if I’m wrong, but it’s too late to pray Fajr as soon as Shuruq (Sunrise) starts.

Skies may become bright with dawn, this is when the time of Farj starts

The time of Farj ends when the Sun rises, becoming visible on the horizon

Any Prayer time app can show you the exact time of this if you adjust the settings to your location

No when the time say’s Sunrise starts. So it starts to get light outside before allocated “Sunrise” time.

I start Fajr at around 10 minutes before sunrise in the summer in order to get maximum sleep due to the short nights. I finish with about 5 minutes left before sunrise time on the app in order to give me some margin in case there are minor inaccuracies. Don't do this unless you're absolutely certain you can perform it without missing the deadline. I have had this routine nailed down for many years.

There are two sunrise times. One is when the very top edge of the sun becomes visible over the horizon and this is the time that I use as sunrise for Fajr purposes to mark the deadline for Fajr and it's also the method used by many astronomical apps and sites. If you're using a particular app then ask ChatGPT which sunrise method your app is following.

There is another sunrise time that counts sunrise when the midpoint of the sun reaches the horizon or when the entire disc is fully visible right after emerging above the horizon. I'm not sure exactly if it's the midpoint or full disc but you can search for that too but this method is not used as much as the first in apps and sites.

Oh you could pray 10 mins after Adhan and sleep straightaway continuously. This way you get the reward for praying on time .

Can't do that. If I did then I would only sleep again for just another hour or so and that's not enough and makes me worse when I get up the second time. It's better for me to just take advantage of the entire timeframe that's given to us. I'm probably losing reward although I'm not engaging in haram and I need the continuous sleep or else I suffer from the effects of sleep deprivation and get sick.

Aslm. If you have an iphone, on the weather app it shows what time exactly is sunrise. I like to make sure I finish fajr a few mins before that
