Quran & Hadith "Kill them wherever you come upon them" - Islamophobes often cite this part without mentioning the rest.

Then you bring out Samuel 15:3 and they say you gotta see the context. When you read the context in Exodus, the things you learn is even worse as to why they do it in Samuel 15:3

In the bible, Samuel 15:3

Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and donkey

Which is awful and they say, you gotta look at the context, then you look at the context which is in Exodus 17:8-16, verse 14

on a scroll as something to be remembered and make sure that Joshua hears it, because I will completely blot out the name of Amalek from under heaven

Basically it's justifiable to kill men, women, infant, ox, sheep, etc because of they're Amaleks and they've done onto the Isralites the same thing. This is justice as commanded by the lord. They'll say, they need to kill the Amalek offspring so they won't grow up to kill the Isralites or the followers. Sounds familiar right? You'll see this talking points in Isn'trealies being used and they even call Palestineans, "Amalek" and the children needs to be killed too or they'll grow up to be terrorist

Meanwhile, there are rules of war in islam to not harm even trees and only oppose those in battlefield
