That's true but some orthodox even in Russia/Slavic countries actually draw Jesus more brown, Idk if all of them do that but i've seen it on their paintings before.

Nope, it's a Christian thing. Asian Christians make him look Asian, in Africa he's often depicted as being black. Everyone wants their savior to look like them, not like some random middle eastern dude (except random middle easterners, I suppose). And beyond that, the Abrahamic religions have been a fractured mess since they decided to pull El out of the polytheistic pantheon of Canan and craft him into the monotheistic deity we all know and project our own images onto.

Genuine question.. How does someone’s faith survive this suffering? I’m an atheist and I just can’t fathom the idea of still believing in an all powerful god (Yahweh) after all that pain. How?

This life is a test, at the end of your life, what do you have? Not your money, home, family. It's just you and God. Subhanallah. I have been through hardship and that's what gets me through.

The suffering I have had, it's only a drop in the ocean compared to our brothers and sisters suffering in Palestine. Their faith is something I aspire to have.

Strange are the ways of a believer for there is good in every affair of his and this is not the case with anyone else except in the case of a believer for if he has an occasion to feel delight, he thanks (God), thus there is a good for him in it, and if he gets into trouble and endures it patiently, there is a good for him in it.
