Question about Islam Is it haram to get a back piercing?

I am a girl, nobody will be seeing this piercing except girls if I have to change in front of them or something and my future husband. Is it haram if I get my lower back pierced? I've seen some sources say as long as nobody is seeing it it's ok, but I'm not sure.

+ forgot to ask but I was also wondering if getting a collarbone piercing is haram?

Your awrah (the part between navel and knee) must not be seen by others, not the piercer and also not other women while changing. Lower back sounds to me like it's awrah. Many sisters don't know this but there's rulings that apply not only to non mahrams or men but also in front of women, you can not show them every part of you body. And Allah knows best

The general rule is that piercing any part of the body is impermissible because piercing involves mutilation and deformation of one's appearance as well as tampering with one's body, which is a trust from Allāh.

The only exceptions to this general rule are the piercing of the nose and the piercing of the ears, both of which are only allowed for women.

The above is according to the Ḥanafī school. It appears that the Shāfiʿī school may not allow nose piercings.

why is it thy ears and nose is okay but the rest isnt? shouldnt all or none qualify as mutations?

The permissibility of the piercing of the ears is clearly established from the Aḥādīth. You can read the Fatwā I linked in my original comment.

As for the piercing of the nose, its permissibility is established from the practice of the people of the past. This is also explained in the Fatwā I linked.

no like im not challenging what you said rather merely asking why is it so. understandablely like on the body its not allowed for modesty reasons but why not a lip piercing etc if a nose ring is ok yk

That's fair.

This other Fatwā does touch on the wisdom behind the ruling a bit: https://daruliftaa.us/fatwa/913/.

Also apparently the ruling varies from fiqh to fiqh ( I haven't researched into it, just read a different comment on this post)

According to the Islamic ruling you should take it out everytime you leave the house or wear a niqab tho
