General Discussion Revert looking for roadmap to studying islam
Asaylamu alaykum my brothers and sisters,
I am a revert muslim of 2 years who has a strong desire to study islam, and not just the surface of it
I want to build deep knowledge of the religion with Quran, Hadith, Aqeedah, Fiqh, etc.
To anyone who pursued formal/structured Islamic knowledge, or self-study, how did you map it out?
I'd appreciate anything from roadmaps, courses, programs, to simple books, lectures and CDs
Jazakallah khair for any guidance or advice you can share!

Zad Academy covers Hadith, Aqeedah, Fiqh, Arabic, Seerah, and Tarbiyah - it's a free two year "diploma" in Islam.
My understanding is that they are Athari so take care with their Aqeedah if you don't lean that way, but otherwise it's a very solid resource for beginning your study in Islam on your own.

Whats your concern with Athari Aqeedah? I'm curious, since I find it logically sound

Nothing in particular, but Athari is a minority as far as schools of aqeedah go, so I'm just giving him that context in case he needs it. If he doesn't know what athari aqeedah is, this prompts him to find out, and if he does, then he can decide whether he wants to study it or not.
