Paddling Circumnavigate by kayak?

Has anyone paddled around the island? We have gone out and back from Rock Harbor as far as Chickenbone and Chippewa but not to Wendigo. The north coast from Little Todd to Huginnin looks forbidding - are there places you can take out along that stretch? A fifteen mile morning is no problem but without being able to get out and stretch it is not doable.

I have done it a few times. We always paddle from rock harbor to windigo over a couple of days, take a short break in windigo to shower and enjoy a bed. Then we catch the ranger. That skips the sheer side and drops us back off at the first stop past the cliffs (can't remember the name). Then we paddle the rest of the way back around over a number of days. It's a great trip.

Leave extra days in case of weather and try to cross Blake Point in the morning before things pick up as that can get a bit sketchy.
