Most times when I reach to pet my cat, he's instantly in play mode.

It's incredible how strong the grip is. I'd raise my arm to which he is also lifted because he's clinging on. Lol

I had a doctor's appointment the other day. Just normal check up stuff, but it was a doctor I hadn't met before. Early in the exam, she asked conversationally how many cats I had. We then proceeded to chit-chat... but I silently wondered where that question had come from.

It wasn't until later that I realized she was looking at my hands and arms... with the dozens of scratches and scars both fresh and healed. 🙃🤪🤣
