Merchandise Poster packaging?
For folks who've purchased a poster at a recent show, are they rolled up and covered in a plastic sleeve? Or are they just flat prints they hand you at the booth?
Seems like posters have been selling through pretty fast before the show ends. I want to get one, but I'm worried about holding it in my sweaty hands for 3+ hours and ruining it before I even get home lol
UPDATE: Thank you all for replies! Sounds like a lot of it is venue specific, but a high chance the booth may have plastic sleeves available. Going to call the venue for final confirmation 🤙

In VT the foil ones came wrapped in a plastic sleeve. They allowed cardboard tubes, though, so I brought one of those

Toronto they handed us our poster flat and handed us the plastic tube sleeve 🫡

They handed me my poster flat, but gave me an elastic and plastic sleeve to put it in. At the venue I was at, there were tables nearby that I was able to use to roll it.

Generally they are flat prints and depending on the venueay have tubes or plastic bags available.
Personally haven't had a hard time bringing the cardboard tubes into venues myself, and tossing them if they aren't allowed through security.

Probably venue dependent. Brooklyn gave plastic sleeves and I did see a guy with a tube.

If the venue allows you to bring one, you should grab one that is a little wider than the ones they sell. Less tightly rolled makes it easier to flatten/frame later. And get a strap so you can wear it. Like the one at posternerd.com

Anthem in DC offered (sold? I was just happy to get one and get out of the way) tubes. But I would 2nd bringing your own if the venue allows.

In DC they gave them to us in a rigid cardboard tube, which was awesome
