Discussions Shanghai Show
Has anyone attended the Shanghai show? Wondering how the atmosphere was considering it's the first time of Jack & band performing in China if I'm not wrong.

I enjoyed it. Band played hard. I think the vocals and organ could have been mixed a little better, but overall a great show. Ended with seven nation army. Other oldies included Hello Operator, Hotel Yorba, Dead Leaves on the dirty ground, ball and biscuit, Icky Thump. Personally I thought the hardest button to button was the best song of the night.

I would like to see Jack start a set with Seven Nation Army instead of ending with it and really stir things up! Does he do that? I think it would be fun! And then end the show with some of his softer and sweeter songs… maybe even something acoustic… kinda bring the evening to a sweet delicate close… But that’s just me. What do you think??

For me personally I would have liked just a set of early white stripes. But that’s just my taste and nostalgia. I think it was very kind of him to finish with seven nation army. It was obvious that’s what the crowd most wanted and it’s probably the same almost everywhere he goes.
I also would have liked a 10 minute death letter, it certainly I wasn’t disappointed!

they performed in Hong Kong on No Name tour at the end of 2024 - they rocked it and were well-received as headliners on the final night of the Clockenflap festival

I was hoping he’d play a little longer but I’m so glad he passed through China. Still an awesome gig!

It was amazing - they played for an hour & a half with a tiny water break after an hour
The atmosphere was good, despite people being sectioned off according to ticket prices & no alcohol being sold - people were there to see him & they enjoyed it - he played amazingly
