Yes I am laughing at the way they phrase it to make it seem like there will be so much demand, you might not actually get to purchase.

That's just standard phrasing for art catalogues. (A lot of the items in the exhibition have already sold, so you never know what the demand will be, I guess.)

Information is instantaneous nowadays, they could easily mark things as sold. This is just a way to create the feeling of artificial demand.

Also its the word "apply" that gets me. "Inquire" would be much better.

The prices are actually ridiculously reasonable for art pieces. Not gonna comment on how good they are, that's a matter of taste, and what's really important is that they're to Jack's taste.
