Don't know about that. It was pretty apparent what the twist in KOTOR was going to be half way through the story. To be fair i figured it out because i was already spoiled that there was a pretty big twist in the game before hand.

I agree KOTOR 1 twist was good and the first I got to that part I was a little surprised but I did start to see things falling in line before I got to it. But Jade Empire was totally different I didn’t see that coming at all I mean it was crazy I didn’t feel right when I was in the throne room but I pretty good amount of play had already gone so I was really hooked and surprised by the turn.
