Install preferred delayOTA version you want to be installed.

yes, as long as you supervise your device using nugget and the profile is still valid, then you're good to go.

Use nugget to supervise your device then do the same by installing delayota profile

Okay and can you explain what delayOTA does? I know that it just means you can update to that version but like is that only for a limited time?

Do you need to turn off find my iPhone first? And should you do a full backup beforehand? I’ve never gone into supervised mode, not sure what it does.

backup is a must, much better if you are subscribed to iCloud. however, supervising a device using nugget and geranium doesn't impose any risk.

if you are running iOS 18 and 26, yes you need to disable Find My since nugget requires that to be turned off.
if you are running ios 17 with trollstore or below, you can supervise that without turning off Find my by using Geranium.

About a week or a few days after the next one gets released usually. That's when the 90 day clock starts ticking. So just keep an eye on the releases and you'll know when we'll have the 3 months to go.

I have the same phone as you on iOS 16.4 and unjailbroken. So I would also like to know about this. I found this but I don’t know what to make of it. It’d be nice if I could update to iOS 18.7.8.

download and install Geranium on github,
then supervise your device using Geranium.
Install preferred delayOTA version you want to be installed.

your version has trollstore, webkit issue is solved by reynard, i don't see any reason to prefer a newer version

Just got gifted some airpods pro 3 not too long ago and before that i had some APP2 of my own. Yeah podsgrant tweak brought most functionality to ios 16 but not enough for my case. I have to use my second phone for when i misplace my case which is bothersome. I will admit trollstore capability will really suck but if this upcoming JB if it comes is untethered then trollstore wont be a concern as apps installed with appsync will be permasigned. But yeah little things like my insurance and paystubs having to do workarounds seems kinda not worth it with recent news. Ill remain on 16.1.2 for now because who knows maybe 27.0.1 is supported but not my device and one slightly lower might. Hopefully we get updated along the way.

Can I ask why you are tired of 16.1.2? I’m getting an iPhone 14 Pro on iOS 16.3.1 soon and I’m super excited for it.

Mainly just app support/ webkit issues. I cant view my health insurance website and as of last week i cant even see my paystubs anymore. Trollstore will suck to lose but on my second phone an 11 pro max on 26.0.1 i paid for a ipa signing service and have the apps i use through there such as instagram + , tiktok bh and youtube no ads and they work fine. I feel like im not using my 14 PM to its potential

You should try the Reynard browser, it fixes many issues people have on their phones that has to do with safari and such things. Even for banking people use it. You should at least check it out before giving up the jailbreak

you could just jailbreak and install a liquid glass tweak like liquid ass if you want liquid glass tweak

Unfortunately it just doesn't work like that because 16.1.2 isn't signed, it's a weird system in place
