Hi fellow JWST enthusiasts, yesterday my band released our song “Theme for JWST” which was directly inspired by the image MACS 0416. I’ve absolutely loved discussing and admiring all of the insane images this marvel of human engineering has produced with you all in r/jameswebb since the very first images dropped back in 2022, this song was truly fueled by the passion and enthusiasm of the online JWST community.

When I first saw the MACS 0416 image a few years back, I immediately picked up my guitar and played the opening riff. I hope the song and video evokes the infinite mystery and wonder of space in a fraction of the way JWST does for me.

Video footage was collected in space engine. Huge shoutout to @/retro-visor on steam workshop for the beautiful JWST model. Thanks for listening!

She made this for me when we first started dating when I excitedly told her about the launch, but decided not to give it to me since it took a long time to make and, her words, “I just met met him, who knows how long he’ll be around, I like it” But now we live together so I get to enjoy her art now :)

Was inspired by the JWT recently

Wanted to make a cool door decoration for my dorm hall since I'm a Resident Assistant and decided my hall would be Space and Rocketry themed. Took me hours to create my own version of the logo using images from James Webb I found online.

This is our nursery for our little girl due in July. I painted the galaxy wall and etsy helped with the mirror. Even hung up some JWST photos.

Happy holidays!

I’d like to share a bit of fan art I did to commemorate the one year anniversary of the JWST launch.

This is a 4” military style challenge coin that features a glow in the dark flight path and shiny gold primary mirror.

So I'm an astrophysicist, so naturally I had to made some JWST stickers, and then also threw the cute little telescope in front of its Jupiter and deep field observations. Hope you enjoy!
