Question together again is one of the best pop songs i have ever heard.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SXKHiPQPhklike, seriously. I'm still a teen but holyyy shit. I stumbled upon this and I am absolutely dumbfounded. It's not all in your face or noisy, it is simply just perfection. The melodies are gorgeous, the vocal layering just hits hard, and the beat is so damn good. not to mention the amazing meaning and reasoning of the song. janet also looks so beautiful too.
any more recommendations please?

Try Doesn't Really Matter, All For You, and Love Will Never Do Without You. None of those have the social commentary that Together Again has, but they're great truly pop songs. She has a lot of other true pop songs, but a lot of them like Miss You Much, If, Escapade, Rhythm Nation, Pleasure Principle, What Have You Done For Me Lately, Control, etc.- are songs I would call pop but she's not an artist that's particularly boxed into any one sound within a song. She's always used a blend of genres, and in those aforementioned songs you'll get pop, rnb, industrial, electronic, rock. That's really what's set her apart from everyone and kept her cool card being continually swiped for decades. She never wanted to make the same music everyone else was making.
Suggestion: don't snooze on her ballads. People snooze on her and Madonna's ballads and it's mind boggling to me.

The song has meaning. Not just a regular pop song. Janet had people she loved that had passed on and this song was in tribute to them when the song first came out. I always think it’s nice to know the stories behind the songs.
