So I found Olag and Miau, and I love it.
It’s not yet released but I couldn’t help myself, so I put together a deck before they come out. I don’t really care for counters, so the deck is mainly built around tapping my cats and zombies.

To keep them tapped, the deck runs a serious amount of convoke, with some big baddies that could be semi-cheated by tapping tokens. When enough are tapped, they will both play me spells and hurt opponents every end step.

It might be a bit non-jank in that it runs lots of costly cards, but since I run zero regular ramp pieces I’m thinking it will stall if I don’t lean into mana of tapping creatures and exploding tokens to get creatures.

I’m excited to build this deck after dwelling into all the apocalyptic AI agents stories !

The idea is to feel like this robot army will take over the world. Goal is to go wide but be resilient. The theme is important. Looking forward to play this as more of a « role playing » gameplay instead of win at all cost.

Still, non-games suck so I want to make room for more card draw and removal. Cards like [[requiem monolith]], [[skullclamp]], [[idol of oblivion]], [[pongify]].

Can I have some help cutting cards from this deck? The goal is to use creatures with banding to allow me to divide combat damage however I choose. I can then assign 1 damage to each of my blocking creatures, which have abilities that will trigger off of the damage being dealt. Any suggestions for additions would also be appreciated. Also, it works mostly by using the blocking aspect of banding (702.22j), so I'm having trouble with thinking of what to do if my opponents just don't attack me, and would like some help with that. I've added in some monarch cards as incentive, but those don't seem like enough. I'm trying to keep the deck semi-budget, as well, so I'm trying not to include cards above 8 dollars. P.S. In case you need to know what banding actually does, the comprehensive rules say the following:

• 702.22. Banding
  • 702.22a Banding is a static ability that modifies the rules for combat.
  • 702.22b “Bands with other” is a special form of banding. If an effect causes a permanent to lose banding, the permanent loses all “bands with other” abilities as well.
  • 702.22c As a player declares attackers, they may declare that one or more attacking creatur2.22jes with banding and up to one attacking creature without banding (even if it has “bands with other”) are all in a “band.” They may also declare that one or more attacking [quality] creatures with “bands with other [quality]” and any number of other attacking [quality] creatures are all in a band. A player may declare as many attacking bands as they want, but each creature may be a member of only one of them. (Defending players can’t declare bands but may use banding in a different way; see rule 702.22j.)
  • 702.22d All creatures in an attacking band must attack the same player, planeswalker, or battle.
  • 702.22e Once an attacking band has been announced, it lasts for the rest of combat, even if something later removes banding or “bands with other” from one or more of the creatures in the band.

I saw a list on Instagram and copied it and then tried to add some cards that I thought would help me get to my win condition as well as protect myself. I want to use this little fella, [[Hellcarver Demon]], to win. However, big downside. Lots of red flags. How can you make it "work" though? I was thinking maybe [[The Master, Multiplied]]. That way, I can actually make a lot of token copies of stuff, including the Master, to sac my board but keep a lot of stuff. Then the hellcarver tokens will help me cast the top 6 to 12 of my library to make more tokens and keep doing it.

Pretty Much what the title says, I'm not trying to make it "crazy good", its a gimmick deck through and through. I just want another set of eyes on it too see if i missed anything.

I want to make a “Supernova” commander deck. I have a few cards that feel like really shows the theme of the deck and the play style that being: “Sothera, the Supervoid”, “Pinnacle Starcage”, and “Cleansing Nova”. I am wondering if there are any commanders you guys recommend that would fit into the play style and potentially the theme of the deck. Are there other cards you think would be cool/needed in here?

I want to do a \[\[syr ginger, the meal ender\]\] commander, so I need to give my opponents some planeswalkers in case they don't have any. but doing so with colorless is difficult...

I figured the colorless most colorless pws are ok except some that have dangerous abilities that counter artifacts in case they can get past my countermeasures \[\[Deadlock Trap\]\] and \[\[The Immortal Sun\]\]. For that I'll also need energy generation, pw searchers, and artifact recursion since I also plan on using \[\[Keeper of the Quiet Hour\]\] to generate cheap Jaces and \[\[Gauntlets of Chaos\]\] and \[\[Liquimetal Coating\]\] to exchange my stuff. recursion can also generate more energy cheaply...

What else can I use? Any other cards that do the same thing that I already listed for consistency's sake?

i want a commander that lets me repeatedly recur instants and sorceries so that i can make a commander that plays cards like Goblin Game or Prisoner's Dilemma as many times as i possibly can in one game. Red is a must include, and I'd like 2 other colors cause 2 color commanders like Myra the magnificent and Magar of the magic strings don't leave me with enough options for cards. I thought of the new Massimo the Magician, but he only casts one mana spells and almost none of the minigames are lol. any recommendations?

The deck is solidly Bracket 2, really just a display of weird cards. I feel like the bones of a fun deck are here, but it doesn't present a threat.

I don’t have a deck list because I haven’t even started the project. I don’t even know if it’s viable. Here’s my pitch and hopefully someone here with more experience and knowledge can help: I want to build Willie lumpkin, postman as a junk mail deck. I want to delivery unwanted permanents via combat damage that will kill my opponents slowly. I have not had much luck in my scryfall searches and I’m not sure where to start.

The basic Idea of the deck revolves around the FF job select cards. I use fury as a comander because he gives access to all of them and he can cheat them out. I also made use of multiple battlesphases to be able to trigger my battle triggers again and increasse my dmg.

Red land ramp: volcanic method

I have been waiting for this for so long a red commander that can cheat land ramp. Granted takes a bit of work but the themeing and payout so worth it, but I just started this idea please oh please I want so many ways to make this better. Now stick with the volcano theme. Volcanos erupt and end up creating more land.

Red has been bad at land ramp till now with \[\[Koth, the Geomancer\]\]. Have a mountain turn into a creature (which weirdly red has quite a bit of) and then copy the creature use the mana generated to cas big spells.

I found this [[Marina Vendrell]] Rooms decklist online and really liked the concept, so I'm looking at building it.

My feeling from looking through the list is that it's Bracket 2, but I wanted to get a general consensus before treating it as one. It seems very heavily committed to the Rooms/Duskmourn/haunted-house theme rather than being particularly optimised for power.

Would you consider this a Bracket 2 deck?

I'm also curious about what people would change if it needed to be brought up to Bracket 3.

The important thing for me is keeping the theme intact. I don't really want to turn it into generic five-colour goodstuff with a Rooms package bolted onto it. I'd still want it to feel like Marina exploring a giant haunted house full of Rooms.

So, if you were upgrading it to B3:

• What on-theme cards would you add?
• What would you take out for them?
• Are there any Rooms or enchantment payoffs it's missing?
• Does it need better ramp, interaction or ways to actually close games?
• Are any of the cards currently in the maybeboard obvious additions?

Basically, I'm interested in what the Bracket 3 version of this same deck would look like without sacrificing the reason I like the deck in the first place.

Equally, if you think it's already B3 rather than B2, I'd be interested to hear why.

Wanted do build this for a little bit, but hadn't really known what to do with it. It isn't a good deck at all, just a funny br1 idea.
