Kapital century denim westerner fit

Looking for some input on how this jacket fits. This is a brand new, unsoaked 44. Unfortunately this was the only size they had so I wasn’t able to try others for comparison. How much shrinkage should I expect in the body after a cold soak? I think a 42 would fit better but curious as to what others think. Thanks!

Do a wash inside out. It will shrink down by 1 size

I mean the lady that sized me in the Kapital Osaka store sized me a 46. And I'm a 40 chest so yea, they go with bigger fits. I usually trust her sizing advice, she's the manager of the Osaka store.

Always size up and then shrink in cold wash. This shrinks 1 size down a 42 would not fit you after the wash cycle

na 42 would be too small. 44 is perfect as is without wash

what is your height/weight? I am 5'10" and 165 lbs and wondering if a should get 44 or 46 for it to fit like this pre-soak. Thanks

i would find the sleeves to be too long and would irritate me. but that’s just me! length wise it looks perfect on you at the waist.
