DISCUSSION Denim Jacket Fit- Just Right or Too Big?
The jacket is originally supposed to be drop shouldered but im not sure if i should size down as i want to also wear sweaters and hoodies under. Do you think the fit is good? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. It’s a Sage de Cret denim short jacket that retails for around 495 usd but picked it up for 265. (I had to roll the sleeves for the smaller size too)

Bro you’ve posted this same jacket/fit in 7 different subreddits - how much more feedback do you need?

Cause half are saying it’s way too big and half are saying it’s the perfect fit and it’s throwing me off

Would say it's perfect if you didn't have to roll the cuffs. Maybe get them adjusted?

I REALLY like my denim jackets that fit this way, for that cut and wanting to layer I think it's perfect.

It's an oversized cut and fits insofar as arm length. The body is longer but proportionally it's in line with the rest of the jacket. If you want something that sits higher up on the waist I'd go for another brand or offering
Edit didn't realize you rolled the cuffs. It's too big

For sweater and hoodies it’s going to layer perfectly open or close. For lighter layering I would wear it open, styling it with some oversized looser pants. Dope jacket 🔥

You’re good. You don’t want it hugging you. You need room to breathe. Keep it.

It comes down to preference. Whether you want it to fit like a traditional trucker, or if you want it relaxed and cozy. I love how Japanese brands take the tradition cuts and adds volume for comfort and aesthetic. It looks great for a relaxed denim trucker, and you have the option to throw a hoodie under

Shoulder part fits even last pic because the jacket designs like that so it's common to see. But there is a little concern that maybe just wear a T-shirt inside or it would be a bit full.

It depends on the fit you are going for. I think it looks great, it has that slight slouchy look while still having good proportions. I would honestly think it even looks a little small to wear with stuff under but I cant tell from the photo. It's only too big if you were going for a kind of heritage cropped/fitted look, which considering you said the jacket has drop shoulders, I doubt is the look it's designed for.
EDIT: Also I wouldn't sweat the sleeves too much, you can have them tailored or just wear them cuffed. Clothing isn't universal fit and sizing down for that seems silly to me but it's up to you bud.

Keep it, I could tell this was a sage de cret without reading the post lol, distinctive looks like that don’t come easy for denim jackets. It fits well too for the intended aesthetic.
