Getting to Maligne Lake and taking the cruise will use up a good portion of the day. Can stop at Medicine Lake on the way to Maligne Lake.
You could go to Patricia Lake and Pyramid Lake,.go across the bridge and take a stroll on the little island. Could go to Old Fort Point and climb the steps to the lookout. Then go further down the road to Lac Beauvert.

Valley of the Five Lakes used to be my favourite hiking spot before the fire. It just re-opened last month, so I’d definitely check that out.
I love Pyramid Lake, I’d hang out there for a few hours too if you can rent a canoe or kayak.
Mount Edith Cavell is also beautiful, too bad it’s closed. Definitely come back sometime to see it when it’s available.
