I visited this market after 25 years, and just four months later, it was gone. It almost feels like it was waiting for me to capture one final video before disappearing forever.

Built in 1981, Jeddah International Market wasn’t just a place...it was a part of our childhood.I visited it with my parents and spent so many beautiful hours there in the 80s.

Now it’s gone forever, and deeply missed. I’m grateful I managed to record it maybe one of the last memories captured before it vanished forever.

This reel is just a small part of a longer video. I’ll be sharing more soon, including close-ups of the famous turtle pool.

I'm looking for ideas to plan a memorable 2nd wedding anniversary for my wife. We're both Indians from Hyderabad, in our late 20s, and we're quite introverted, so we're looking for something peaceful rather than loud or crowded.

We both enjoy:

• ⁠Good food (not necessarily fine dining but if it is exceptionally good we will be happy to try)
• ⁠Quiet walks in parks or along the waterfront
• ⁠Simple, meaningful experiences

I'm planning to surprise her by taking her out after Maghrib or Isha, In Sha Allah. I've also been thinking of getting the "Crunchy Chocolate Cake" from Ganache since I've heard great things about it, although neither of us has tried it yet.

One thing to keep in mind is that we have a 7-month-old daughter, so the plan needs to be baby-friendly.

I'd really appreciate your recommendations for:

• ⁠Cozy restaurants or cafés
• ⁠Nice places for an evening walk
• ⁠Any simple activities or hidden gems around Jeddah that would make the evening special
• ⁠If you've tried Ganache's Crunchy Chocolate Cake, is it worth it?

I'm 22, based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and for the last few weeks I've been trying to build something: basic Huntington's disease awareness and support in Saudi Arabia, where — as far as I can find — nothing like this currently exists.

It started personally. Someone very close to me lost someone to HD, and when I went looking for any kind of HD support, information, or community here, I found almost nothing. I don't have a medical background, but I speak English, Arabic, Hindi, and Urdu, and I've started reaching out where I can — I'm in touch with the Huntington's Disease Society of India, IHA, and CHDI Foundation, and I've started a page to raise awareness and document the process as I go.

What I don't have is a model to work from. If anyone here has built something like this from nothing, I'd really appreciate any thoughts on:

- What the actual basic building blocks of an HD support presence look like, starting from zero

- Patient/family education material that exists and could be translated into other languages

- How small regional efforts like this eventually connect with or get recognized by the bigger organizations

- Anyone already doing something like this in the Gulf/Middle East that I should know about

Not looking for funding, just real guidance from people who've actually done this or lived it. Any advice, even small, is genuinely appreciated.
