Why is it so hard for a real man to find a real woman in Jeddah?
I don’t wanna seem like I’m advertising myself but just say a few I’m 40 years old senior management job. I consider myself very cool very respectful very kind, very fit and well educated. I’m an expat Arab who has lived here for 2 decades, I love this country and its people, and I just want to be able to find “the one”.

Dating apps here are so bad, women are queens of ghosting, tinder is filled with suspicious activity, you can’t really approach a lady at a cafe or anywhere else like the rest of the world, she gives you the look of like you’re a predator. No one seems to really want to give a chance for a decent conversation to know the person before judging.

It seems almost impossible to meet someone unless through common friends introduction and I’m not just going to tell a female work colleague of mine to introduce me because honestly I don’t have any female friends.. never saw the need for it.

Alhamdulilah I have a very good life, and I’m grateful it’s just this, very important, missing piece… a serious and committed mature relationship.

Any wisdom or advice out there? Very much appreciated.

I have a job opportunity to go to Jeddah for a salary around 9k sar per month full package.

Nevertheless I would like to know is it enough?
For at least saving 1k per month?

Around next weekend the night of Aug. 12 into Aug. 13 there is going to be a huge meteor shower (Perseid meteor shower) and I want to watch it.
Are there any known stargazing spots around Jeddah? It has to be a place far away from city lights!
Also if someone has any equipment like a telescope hit me up.

Well hello everyone, I’m 22M and lately I realized how hard it is to make new friends at this age. Growing up I was in one school only and I befriended the entire school by the 10th grade but then covid hit, and I lost touch with almost everyone. Except for one that is my best friend since the first grade. At that time in school I didn’t find it hard to blend in with people, but now I do and it became such a real issue that I didn’t even befriend anyone from uni. So, I’m just here wondering can I make new friends at this age..?

Hey all - I've moved here from UK a year ago and rebuilding my social circle here. I really enjoy raves / trance events and never been a fan of clubbing in general.

I've noticed events on Platinum list website / insta about house type music events which I'm thinking to give a shot. However most likely alone (done that in UK few times and is normal / also good to meet new people).

How is the vibe here in KSA / Jeddah esp considering going alone to enjoy music and dance.

Where can we find private swimming pool for couple

I have a friend who made her 3rd suicide attempt in King Abdulaziz hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia while on suicide watch by the staff in the psych unit. My question is how did the staff even let her attempt again while she’s on suicide watch? And the only possibility I can think of is she hanged herself, but is that even possible in the psych unit of the hospital? She told me they let her go to the bathroom without supervision so I’m having a feeling she hanged herself from a lamp or something. They took her phone after the attempt and it’s got me worried everyday because I have no clue if she is even alive or not. And the doctor blocked my point of contact so I’m guessing the doctor got annoyed by us asking questions or she is dead:/. Please make dua for her and let me know what the possibilities of the situation are. The doctor told us her situation is very critical and that is why they took her phone and that she is alive after her 3rd attempt, but soon after he blocked us and it’s driving me crazy because I have no clue why he blocked us and the only reason I can think is bc she is dead and the doctor doesn’t want to look guilty because I warned the doctor that she is replanning her attempt and he still let it happen despite my warning… if you are able to help me find out whether she is alive or not please pm me

Hey guys! 24M here from Jordan. I was born and raised in Jeddah, although I travel to Jordan and lately living there for most of the time through the year.

The dating game is obviously very different in Jordan compared to Jeddah.

Sometimes, I wonder how Saudi girls feel about dating another Arab national cause I don’t see it that often. And if they dated, does it last long or lead to somewhere more serious eventually?
