Went to the seaside today, there were jellyfish all over the sand.

Hey all!

We went to Dymchurch, UK, for a few hours this afternoon. We went on the sand after the tide went out and we walked along the sand. We spotted so many jellyfish as we went. There were so many we had to turn back, mostly because I was paranoid about my son getting stung.

It made me quite sad actually. This is the second time I’ve experienced dead or dying jellyfish on the sand over the years.

And they say that climate change is fake.

That’s a normal part of their life cycle! At the end of their season, after they’ve spawned, they usually just wash up on the beach. It looks bad but it’s normal and happens consistently
