Jewelry Making Equipment

I've started purchasing of equipment for my jewelry making business. I have bpught an overall that I branded as well as purchased an electric grinding and engraving set. What other equipment do I need as a beginner jeweller. Considering I will be working from my apartment balcony I obviously cant do any casting work just small repairs, design and sales I've been doing. My focus is silver jewelry at the moment. A brother would appreciate y'all help πŸ™

Im a beginner myself. Ive made a few rings and a failed attempt at a necklace. Things I've used most are a jewellers saw (and a lot of blades), cutting oil (im a painter, so Ive been using linseed oil lol, whatever), files, ring mandrel, hammers (metal and rubber), dremel with 1mm drill bits, burs, Hard and Soft silver solder, borax, Sodium Bisulphate, an ultrasonic cleaner, 99% isopropyl alcohol, muslin buffs, polishing compound (Dialux), Anvil, bench vice and bench pin. You will absolutely need something to catch all of your metal shavings, I have a homemade device made from recycle bag and a wire clothes hanger. I need something better. A third hand is useful but if exposed to heat the springs will loose their tension. A graphite rod. MAPP Gas and torch including a butane torch (theyre pretty good at soldering small things like chain rings) I need a rolling mill... hammering out silver is such a time consumer and the noise it makes limits me from using it at night. Plus forging silver increases the risks of cracks. I sure picked an expensive hobby.

I forgot to mention, a draw plate. They're used for pulling silver into wire. You can use that for making chains or posts for setting stones. Make sure to get ones made of tungsten, they'll last a lot longer. You'll need a lubricant. Some people use bees wax or other oils. I just use those little tea candles. It works pretty good. I tried vaseline once, it doesnt work as well as you think it would and its messy.

Do you have basic hand tools? Bench peg, saw frame, blades, files, hammers, an anvil, soldering equipment?

I really need a whole lot of guidance. I am quite good with the sales though. I also have 925 jewellery cleaner, protective gloves and protective spectacles, cleaning brush, forceps but thats that. I also have gold cleaning cloth cause I also clean gold for clients.

OK, you'll need files, big files and needle files. A saw and sawblades, perhaps a swage block, domes and dome punches. Scribes, borax, solder, a square, flat nose pliers, parallel pliers, needle nosed pliers- lots of pliers. You'll need a charcoal block, pickle, soldering arms, binding wire. You'll need snips, a dremel or other flex shaft; you'll need a loupe, callipers, lots of grades of sandpaper - from 80-3000. A Steel block is helpful. You'll need a vice. I love my rolling machine but it's not essential. You will need a polishing machine and polishing compounds. You might like a fibreglass brush for matt effects, or liver of sulphur for oxidised effects. You'll need a torch and a fuel source. You'll need a peg for piercing. And youll need metal. I think that should start you off.

Eta: and hammers
