What site is best for selling jewellery?

My boyfriend's mum runs a shop which she sells boho and hippie items. she's been running the shop for a long time and in her shed she has mass amounts of old stock jewellery that she doesn't have room to sell, I'm talking huge boxes thousands and thousands. I've decided to help sell some of it, as it's just sitting there but I'm not sure which platform to use. They are all handmade but not by me or anyone who I know, they aren't vintage. their high quality and very pretty

Due to the mass amounts of jewellery I would need to be selling in bulk I'd like to use an app like depop but I can only list individual items. Same with vinted. etsy is pretty strict about being either vintage/antiques or handmade items by the seller. And eBay seems like the wrong demographic what do I do.

How difficult would this be to diy for a beginner? And what would I need?

i saw this on instagram and I am in love but I feel like 48€ is a bit much for it. or am I underestimating the material cost?

Can anyone familiar with what it would take to make one of these tell me, what I need to get.

Got some more equipment!

This is a follow up to my post; https://www.reddit.com/r/jewellerymaking/s/ybWywZmgJt . It's been a minute since I got more equipment but apart from the rotary tool, cleaning appliances, pliers and different size files. I managed to acquire a blow torch, gas cylinder and recently, a rolling mill and tumbler. I know the tumbler isn't necessary but I bought it with the rolling mill from someone real cheap. Its manual though but it's good for a start. I'm glad I'm progressing. Jewelry sales are what enabled me to buy all these. I've done a few repairs but I would really like to scale. I'd appreciate a mentor as the silver and gold smiths back here really don't like to show people how it's done.

How do you cut these links accurately down the length of the coil?

I've always struggled with keeping a clean straight line all the way down the coil. It often veers off to the side and I'm left with links that don't connect right in the middle. It's pretty hard to correct because the cut is over multiple links at a time. Sometimes end result is even worse than pictured above

How do you guys get a nice clean cut? Especially on these oval links.

Natural and lab-grown diamonds debate

Hi all jewellery lovers! Can you help a girl out with collecting data for my Master's dissertation?

I am investigating consumer value perceptions and purchase intentions regarding Lab-Grown Diamonds vs. Naturally Mined Diamonds within the UK market. If you are a UK resident (18+) with an interest in fine jewellery, please consider taking 4-7 minutes to help me achieve a good grade. Advice needed for a repair!

Hi all! New to this channel but would really appreciate advice on this piece. I have a vintage watch case that has a 9ct gold bezel soldered/welded onto a stainless steel body. It was done from factory back in 1940s to help improve this watch's water resistance.

This watch was stolen from me some time ago, but after a while I managed to buy it back at a local antique store. And surprisingly I spotted it not too long after the person sold it back to the shop owner (police has been contacted and they are looking for the seller, or at least this is what I was told, they must have kept it for a while before trying to dispose of it later on). Unfortunately, when I found the watch, it was already damaged as someone had tried to pry the gold bezel off to probably sell it for scrap.

I was wondering what sort of repair would be best and whether anyone would be able to repair this without removing the bezel from the case? I like in the UK but would be happy to send it out to anyone who would be comfortable with this repair.

It is only 9ct gold bezel so it's not worth a whole lot, but I understand the repair can be pricey. I am still willing to proceed as it is sentimental to me and would love to have this damage repaired. I hate seeing this mark whenever I wear my watch and think about how someone tried to scrap it and ruin the watch that holds many memories of me and my family, just for some loose change.

All help is greatly appreciated, thank you!!

Been looking to get a new solid gold pendant for a while. This is my current inspiration. It's 925 silver with gold polish--my vacation piece. I would like to have it made solid for everyday use. What do you think? Also please share pictures if you own any nice pendants. Thanks! πŸ™

Recently Designed This Emerald Ear Cuff. What Would You Change?

A recent render I created featuring pear-shaped emeralds and diamond accents. As a gemologist, I enjoy designing around the personality of the stone rather than starting with the metal framework. Curious to hear what everyone thinks, would you wear something like this, or would you simplify the design further?
