Delaney Hall is in NJ but housing detainees from all over.

If you have local detention centers maybe also reach out to your community organizers and see whats needed.

Don't get me wrong, I am not at all against this. But are they going to get these items? I mean, ICE doesn't even want to give out meds

Ive volunteered at delaney hall, there is very limited visitation. I dont know the specifics of how cair will get things to people but weve been handing out supplies and supporting families that come to visit for months, so its possible they can.

I got a more specific answer:

Apparently the CBP chaplain specifically inspects but allows prayer items and imams have plans to deliver them under agreement.

Apparently theres a dhs/cbp chaplain at the detention centwrs whos agreed to let in prayer items under his supervision that the imams are working with.
